Integrating WordPress

After spending the past couple of weeks building a blog into my web site, I’m happy to announce that it’s up and running! WordPress is my software of choice due to rave reviews from friends and web pundits. So far it’s working pretty well, but I’ll probably be ironing out a few kinks as I find them over the next couple of weeks. Let me know if you detect any weirdness, or have any other comments or concerns. Or compliments, of course!

I will build you a bee house or something if you give me some clues on how you did this, so I can add one to mine as well.

@Dave – I used WordPress.org, installed on my web server. WordPress gives you instructions to download from their site, but my hosting service had an installation app on my control panel, so I did it that way. Then I picked one of the themes provided in the install, duplicated it with my own name, then made a mashup of the theme and my own site assets. When I was done I used a line of PHP on my home page to point to the theme index page, which is in the WordPress subdirectory.

I would love a little bee house, btw. If you have extra time, a chicken coop would be great.
